The hotel takes measures to minimize their environmental footprint by reducing their waste production. They accomplish this with their system for biological treatment of wastewater, toilets that minimize water use, basin taps with controlled opening time, showers heated with a solar heating system, ecological air conditioners, treatment and disinfection of the bath water for use in the boxes toilet discharge system (in a construction phase), capture and disinfection of rainwater for use in the boxes toilet discharge system (in a construction phase), garbage collection (in a developing stage), lighting electronics and the use of recycled paper for all internal documents.
