- Rio's south zone - Rio's Airport - Avenida Brasil - BR 101 - Angra dos Reis and back
- The total distance traveled by van / mini bus is about 170km, 2h30m, one way
- It takes about 30-40 minutes between the airport and hotels in Rio's south zone
- It takes from 50 minutes to 1h30m for sea crossing, depending on the boat
The rules for cancellations are as follows:
- Cancellations made in advance of 2 days before the trip (working days from Monday to Friday), will be a refunded in 80% of the booking amount.
- For cancellations made up to 2 days before the trip date, there will be no refund.
- No-shows will not be refunded.
- Change of flights not informed 24 hours in advance, are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
Free for children up to 3 years of age. Children from 4 to 8 years will be charged 50% of the rate as adult.
Participant Guidelines
>> Departure TripFrom Rio's airport, from 8:30 until 18:00:After landing at the airport, there will be a driver waiting for you at the gate of your flight arrival; the driver will be holding a board with your name on it. For that reason, we must know the correct arrival flight information. Please read also other disclosures.
From Rio's south zone hotels - Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, 8:30 and 11:30:After hiring the transfer, we will give the hotel address to the driver and he goes to the hotel and will waiting in advance in front. Eventually, he will enter the hotel and ask to call the guest in the room. For that, it is very important to know the correct address and name of the hotel.
When arriving at Angra, the driver will buy and deliver the ticket to you go onboard the first boat leaving for Vila do Abraão - Ilha Grande.
When arriving at Vila do Abraão, you can use the service of a carrier of luggage from the wharf until the pousada (Not included in price). It coast about BRL 15, to 30,
>> Return Trip. From ferry-boat wharf at 10:00From Angra dos Reis (where the ferry from Ilha Grande goes) the driver will take you to the airport in time to take your flight (read other disclosures section). You must inform about the time of departure of your flight.
- To Rio's south zone hotels - Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon:
From Angra dos Reis, the driver will take you to the chosen hotel in Rio's south zone. It is very important to know the address of the hotel, then you give this information to the driver and he will make the best and fastest path. Be sure that this hotel is located in the south zone.
Other Disclosures
About the go-trip departure from Rio's airport.
The last boat leaving Angra to Vila do Abraão, Ilha Grande is at 16:00. Then, you must leave Rio Airport until 13:30.
If you already know that your flight arrival time is between 13:30 and 16:00, then, this service is not suitable for you. You can ask us to provide a private transfer for you.
If you hire this service and you show up at the arrival gate between 13:30 and 18:00, inform the driver you will need to sleep in Angra and take the boat on the next day. You must inform us that you will check into the pousada the next day.
If you hire this service and for any reason, you do not show up at the gate until 18:00 you will need to sleep one night in Rio and use the service the next day. You must inform us that you will check into the pousada the next day.
About the back-trip:
The road transfer operates only at 11:30, this means that the driver will await the arrival of the ferry that leaves Ilha Grande at 10:00. Be sure that you will not miss the ferry, because if you do, you will also lose the transfer service, which will not be refunded. You can call the Local Connection office to find out if there will be another special road transfer after 11:45.
Participants are requested to go the Local Connection office connection - SW Turismo, which is located in the commercial condominium 'Buganville' to get the ticket for sea crossing on the regular ferryboat, at least one day before check out. The office closes at 20:00. Refer to the map of Vila do Abraão.
Keep in mind that from Ilha Grande to the airport in Rio is a journey of about 5 hours. It means that you will be reaching the airport at about 15:00 pm. If you need to do the flight check-in earlier, this regular service is not suitable for you. If you prefer, we can arrange a private transfer to correctly synchronize between the departure from Ilha Grande and the flight's boarding time.
