Caring For The Customer


The "caring for the customer" rating is an aggregate score for the five parameters we survey (Service of Staff, Quality of Information, Overall Experience, Safety/Organization and Overall Impression/ Value for money). There must be a minimum of 3 traveller ratings we can average before we display a rating for the tour. We also age traveller ratings and discard any that are over twelve months old.

Airport transfer service - round trip   has an average customer care rating of 2.73 (out of a possible 5). The scores for each parameter are:

Pickup info:

Any hotel in the south zone of the city (Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon), or airport to any wharf in Angra.

Always at Ferry boat's wharf, to any hotel or airport in Rio.

No one Paraty representative standing at the domesstic arriving hall at 10

There were representativs without our names at the internationally arriving hall
It was our job to find the operator (at a cost of more then 170 BR$ higher then yours
competitors (Skoner + ACbigbus for 300 BR$ boatticket incl)

It was no 170 BRL higher value in your services, and not in the Posada but you get a beautiful island
But get rid of the cons outherwise this spot will deminssing

transfer price was twice expensive compared to the local practices

The trip from Rio to Angra and Ilha Grande was fine - no problem here.
But the way back from Ilha grande (via Conceição de Jacareí) to Rio was not a good experience for us.

1. We had to pay for the ferry tickets (30 BRL) even thoug it was supposed to be included in the price.

2. The driver was confused and acted weired. On the first part of the drive he seemed sleepy and at a certain point we were actually afraid that he was about to fall asleep whikle driving!
3. After a while (and a request to fresh up) the driver seemed a bit more awake. But then he started driving like crazy! Going 120 km/h whan 60 was aloud, screaming and pointing after drivers in other cars and similar things. We were a bit freeked out by him!
So the trip from Ilha Grande to Rio was a very bad experience.
