The Festival of Music and Ecology reveals new talented Brazilian artists in the beautiful setting of Ilha Grande.
The festival is open to all and any musical artist is welcome to come and share their vision, as this is in accordance with the articles of the Regulation. The theme of Ecology is incorporated to highlight the local characteristics of the spectacular island.
In its 14th edition the traditional festival that happens in the winter season, in the Vila do Abraão it comes on 2010 with an innovation. Unlike previous years when the festival was held in two stages and two weekends, the first step in the city of Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande in the end, the two stages occur in a single weekend ONLY IN VILA DO ABRAÃO. This change came after talks between the City of Angra dos Reis and local businesses in order to reduce costs to the CITY while rescues the originality of the Festival, which was born in 1996 in the Vila Do Abraão, as an event linked to the nature of Ilha Grande to attract the public at the time of the low season.
