Requirement of minimum number of nights (package) for booking during Brazilian holidays:
There are twelve beautifully designed rooms arranged in two separate buildings. Four of these are double rooms, four rooms are triple and four rooms can accommodate up to four people.
All the rooms have a wide balcony with hammock and a wonderful view facing the sea. They are also equipped with private safes. Moreover, the hotel has not provided television sets in the rooms, since the management believes that the fun lies in the charm and magic of nature.
Eight of the rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art A/C (silent model). Four rooms are equipped with split A/C units, with the lowest possible noise level, as their compression unit is external.
Remember that making a reservation you agree that you are aware of the conditions set forth herein. (Please read. You need only 1 minute).
Cancellations made on the initiative of the guest and his refunds will occur according with the applicable legislation, and are subject to fines as follows:
Cancellations made up to 31 days before the check-in date a fine of 10% of the total price will applied. From 21 to 30 days before, a fine of 10% of the total price will applied. Less than 21 days of the check in, could be negotiated in the following order:
a) - Substitution in time for another guest of your appointments on the same conditions employed;
b) – Move the hosting to another future date, under the same conditions employed. Valid for six months except on holidays;
c) - Receive refunds in a variable percentage depending on the proximity of the date of entry: Fine of 30% of the total price for cancellations from 20 to 10 days before the check in. Fine of 40% if before 9-3 days of the check in. Fine of 50% if before 2-1 days of the check in. Fine of 100% of the value paid for booking for cancellations in the day of the check in.
The fine will always be applied to the total price of the accommodation (all nights allocated) and not on the amount paid at time of the booking;
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR TRADE CONDITIONS IN ILHA GRANDE
Keep in mind that to reach Ilha Grande there is a total dependency on boat transfer. The owners of the Pousadas do not have the ability to call the market at any time for ordering ingredients for breakfast, but rather receive them at the door, delivered by a car. They usually carry out their purchases in advance, based on the scheduled bookings. Also, cancellations when they happen, are not easy to remedy.
The relationship between service providers and tourist guests is generally ruled by the Code of Consumer Rights and more specifically by Decree no. 2181, to March 20, 1997, Normative Deliberation. 161 of 09.08.85, Normative Resolution No. CNTUR. 04/83 of 28.01.83.
SPECIAL CASES / INCIDENTAL / EXCEPTIONS.
- The guest is entitled to a refund, partial or total, only when he is unable to reach Ilha Grande due to conditions of transport routes that actually prevent the travel or because of weather conditions, which endanger the safety of travellers. These conditions must be knowledge of the communities from Iha Grande, and attested by public authorities;
- Normal conditions of rain or bad weather, since they do not prevent the arrival and permanence on Ilha Grande, DO NOT fall into these exceptions;
- Cases of sickness and accidents must be reported with presentation of valid documents such as medical certificates and police report.
