Lopes Mendes Beach by Boat

If you are looking for one of the most beautiful beaches on the Brazilian coast, take the most traditional boat trip of Ilha Grande. It takes 45 minutes by boat and then 30 minutes of easy walking to reach the incredible Lopes Mendes Beach.
It is an ocean beach, about 3 km long, with white sand that is very fine and firm. Although the sea is choppy, the transparency of the water is impressive, as is its variation of shades.
In the past, many people lived in this magnificent place. Today it is a deserted beach with little drinking water and abundant shade provided by almond trees.
The sea can be treacherous and dangerous, showing strong sea currents that make many "holes" in the sand.
It is the most sought after for practicing surfing in the whole Ilha Grande.
