Asalem has a deliberately rustic and simple style where the magic of candlelight and gas lamps are favoured. You will have the opportunity to observe our frequent visitors, including a wide variety of exotic tropical birds, butterflies, squirrels and monkeys. From the sundeck in front of the sea, observe fishes, starfishes, crustaceans and turtles.
Dinner (not included) is prepared in our restaurant where we use fresh fish, bought directly from local fishermen, greens and vegetables.
Nearby are some great beaches where you can go walking, swimming, row a kayak or canoe (both included), or rent our boat. To move between Asalem and Abraão village you can simply walk for 20 minutes by a trail that follows the coast or use our boat.
Asalem has had many honeymoon travellers, and so are usually booked all year long (we recommend booking 3 months in advance).
Have you already heard about Brazilians caipirinhas and cocktails? We make them for you from local cachaças and hand-picked fruits from our land. You need just relax and enjoy our house-specialty! Also we have a selection of beer and wine available.

>> Cancellations made until 20 days before the check-in date will not be refunded. The amount paid may be retained as a credit for future use within a one year time period.
>> Cancellations will not be accepted at check-in day.
>> No-show or late check-in will not be refunded.
Due to topographic features, Asalem is not recommended for small children, especially if they are very active.
