Pousada Riacho dos Cambucás

Named after a native fruit tree, the Pousada Riacho dos Cambucás is a haven of tranquillity and peace in the middle of the Atlantic Forest where the works of nature and man live and fall into perfect harmony. Riacho dos cambucás stands out because of its rustic style and warmth amid the exuberant nature of Ilha Grande.

Guests can meet and rest peacefully in the garden with various species of bromeliads, heliconia, alpine, and orquídeas among other native plants, and find accord with the Atlantic Forest.

Riacho dos Cambucas got its start in 1998. Initially, it was very simple, and after some reforms and extensions, the pousada now qualifies as one of the best deals on the island.

Good breakfast served in an airy room equipped with TV and sound system.

There are outdoor deck areas for guests to rest, read and watch nature.
