Named after a native fruit tree, the Pousada Riacho dos Cambucás is a haven of tranquility and peace in the middle of the Atlantic Forest where the works of nature and man live and fall into perfect harmony. Riacho dos cambucás stands out because of its rustic style and warmth amid the exuberant nature of Ilha Grande.
Guests can meet and rest peacefully in the garden with various species of bromeliads, heliconia, alpine, and orquídeas among other native plants, and find accord with the Atlantic Forest.
Riacho dos Cambucas got its start in 1998. Initially, it was very simple, and after some reforms and extensions, the pousada now qualifies as one of the best deals on the island.

- Cancellations made 31 days prior to check-in date will be refunded 90 % of the price paid on booking.
- Cancellations made from 21 to 30 days prior to check-in date will be refunded 80 % of the price paid on booking.
- Cancellations made up to 20 days prior to check-in date will not be refunded. The amount paid may be retained as a credit for future use within a 1-year-time period.
- Cancellations will not be accepted at check-in day.
- No-shows or late check-ins will not be refunded.
- Early check-out will not be refunded.
Late check-out policy:
- Late check-out on the same day will be charged half day.
- Personal expenses must be paid on the day prior to check-out.
- Early check-out will not be refunded.
