Pick-up will be at any hotel in the south zone of the city, or airport to any wharf in Angra.

Notes:

The following details are mandatory for completing the booking:

  • Flight number and company, date and time of arrival and the name of the airport in Rio
  • The name and address of the hotel booked in Rio
  • Booking paid by Visa, MasterCard, Diners or PayPal is required


Cancellation policy

The rules for cancellations are as follows:

  • Cancellations made in advance 2 days before the trip (working days from Monday to Friday), will be a refunded 80% of the booking amount.
  • For cancellations made less than 2 days before the trip date, there will be no refund.
  • No-Shows will not be refunded.
  • Change of flights not informed 24 hours in advance are the sole responsibility of the traveller.

Children policy

Free for children up to 3 years of age. Children from 4 - 8 will pay 50% of the adult rate. Children 9 and older pay 100%.

Airport transfer service - Way trip

Duration: 3 hour(s) - Location: Road and marine transport between Rio city and Ilha Grande.

Save time and worry. Avoid wasting time, dealing with unnecessary situations such as timing up schedules of flights, buses and boats! You can get the easiest way, safe and fast to go and back from Ilha Grande. It helps you to reach the coast, avoiding the mess of the town. You can travel between the cities Rio de Janeiro and Angra dos Reis in a van / mini bus with A/C,  shared with others passengers, which is driven by a responsible professional. The van will let and pick you up on the correct wharf (Angra dos Reis has three different wharfs).

Itinerary
  • Rio's south zone - Rio's Airport - Avenida Brasil - BR 101 - Angra dos Reis
  • The total distance traveled by van / mini bus is about 170km, 2h30m
  • It takes about 30-40 minutes between the airport and hotels in Rio's south zone
  • It takes from 50 minutes to 1h30m for sea crossing, depending of the boat

From Rio's airport, from 8:30 until 18:00:

After landing at the airport, there will be a driver waiting for you at the gate of your flight arrival; the driver will be holding a board with your name on it. For that reason, we must know the correct arrival flight information.
Not included: the boat ticket for sea crossing, which costs about 15-30 BRL

From Rio's south zone hotels - Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, from 8:30 until  11:30:

After hiring the transfer, we will give the hotel address to the transfer company and a driver will go to the hotel and wait in front. Please, be aware, the driver can arrive any time up to 11:30, depending of the traffic conditions. Delays are possible and sometimes it will not be possible for the driver enter  the hotel. For that reason, it is very important  to inform us of the correct address and name of the hotel. You must be ready and waiting in the hotel.

Not included: the boat ticket for sea crossing, which costs about 15-30 BRL: When arriving at Vila do Abraão, you can use the service of a luggage carrier from the wharf to the pousada. It cost sabout BRL 15 - 30.

Other disclosures

About the go-trip departure from Rio's airport:

  • The last boat leaving Angra to Vila do Abraão, Ilha Grande is at 16:00. You should leave the Rio Airport by 13:30.
  • If you already know that your flight arrival time is between 13:30 and 16:00, then, this service is not suitable for you. You can ask us to provide a private transfer for you.
  • If you hire this service and you show up at the arrival gate between 13:30 and 18:00, inform the driver you will need to sleep in Angra and take the boat the next day. You must inform us that you will make the check-in at pousada the next day.
  • If you hire this service and for any reason you do not show up at the gate until 18:00, you will need to sleep one night in Rio and use the service the next day. You must inform us that you will make the check-in at pousada the next day.
  • Please note that the ferry ticket is not included in this transfer service.
